Roadmap

The Fiber roadmap is divided in three phases:

Phase 1: Mainnet Alpha

Mainnet Alpha is the first phase of the Fiber mainnet. In this phase, validators are run exclusively by the Fiber team. No slashing or staking is possible.

Phase 2: Mainnet Beta

Mainnet Beta is the second phase of the Fiber mainnet. In this phase, validators are run by approved community members. Slashing and staking are possible.

Phase 3: Mainnet

Mainnet is the third and final phase of the Fiber mainnet. In this phase, validating is open to the public. Slashing and staking are enforced.
